Djokovic is on the comeback trail from knee surgery just over a month ago and will now face a rising star in his biggest Wimbledon test so far.
Alex de Minaur is 36-12 this year, losing to Jannik Sinner in the Rotterdam Open final and beating Casper Ruud in the Mexican Open final. He was unable to reach a semi-final on clay.
